The publisher of a German erotic magazine has launched a New York court bid to force Oprah Winfrey to change her magazine's name.
The German publisher of 'O Magazine' brought the lawsuit against The Hearst Corp, publisher of 'O', the Oprah Magazine.
Harpo, Winfrey's production company, was also named as a defendant.
The German magazine claims Oprah's magazine may ruin their efforts to market their products because people will believe it is infringing on Winfrey's trademarks.
