U2 lead singer Bono went ahead with the band's Earls Court concert in London last night despite the death of his father.
He used the event to pay a special tribute telling thousands of fans, "I want to thank my father for giving me this voice."
He then dedicated the song 'Kite' to his father, Bob Hewson, who was in his 70s and had been ill with cancer for some time.
