Shania Twain has given birth to a boy; the baby is called Eja, pronounced Asia.
Twain and husband Mutt Lange live in Switzerland and have been married since 1993. This is the couple's first child.
Twain, who has sold more than 50 million albums, dropped out of the public eye after her last release 'Come On Over' in 1999.
