Following a messy separation, actress Meg Ryan and actor husband Dennis Quaid have managed to come to an admirably civilised divorce settlement.
The pair have signed an agreement in a Los Angeles court that states they will have joint custody of their son, nine-year-old Jack.
Ryan and Quaid, who were married for 10 years, have even agreed to share the family car.
