Christina Aguilera and Gilberto Gil head the list of nominees for the second annual Latin Grammy awards.
Aguilera was nominated for Record of the Year and Female Vocal Album, while Brazilian Gil was nominated for Record of the Year and Album of the Year.
Ricky Martin was one of the few major acts nominated this year, for his video of the Spanish version of the song 'She Bangs'.
The Latin Grammy ceremony will take place in Miami on 11 September and will be televised by CBS.
