The National Gallery of Ireland has secured a major impressionist exhibition from the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.
The exhibition will open early next year and will be housed in the Gallery's new Millennium wing at Clare Street which is scheduled to be completed at the end of this year.
The exhibition will comprise masterpieces by Renoir, Picasso, Monet and Cezanne.
Bill Maxwell of the National Gallery has described the exhibition as a major acquisition.
