Backstreet Boys star AJ McLean, 23, has entered a rehab clinic for 30 days in a move to beat alcohol abuse and depression.
Fellow band member Kevin Richardson revealed that McLean entered the clinic to battle "depression, anxiety and his excessive consumption of alcohol".
The move has forced the five-strong US boy band to postpone a US and Canadian tour scheduled to promote their new album.
