The original front cover of JK Rowling's best-selling children's book 'Harry Potter And The Philosopher's Stone is to be auctioned.
The piece, a 1977 watercolour by Thomas Taylor, is expected to fetch about £25,000stg at Sotheby's in London.
Rowling said the image had "a unique status" and played an important role in the public perception of the character.
Also for auction at Sotheby's is a letter by JRR Tolkien in which he accuses Walt Disney of being a business cheat.
