Actress Gillian Anderson is leaving the X-Files for a role on the West End stage.
She says the next series of the TV show will be her last.
Anderson is appearing in the West End next summer, but refuses to give more details about her plans for the future.
She told a Sunday newspaper, "the stuff I am going to do is as far from Scully as humanly possible.
The 32-year-old, who has played Dana Scully on the popular 'X-Files' TV show since 1993, also hopes to spend more time with her six-year-old daughter Piper.
