Virgin Radio bosses in London are expected to make an announcement today about the future of DJ Chris Evans.
The station has said it was examining all options to tie up the ongoing saga after the presenter missed a fifth successive show.
Evans says he's been off work through illness and he says he wants to go back to work, but that Virgin don't want him.
The DJ, who recently married singer Billie Piper has been spotted repeatedly out drinking, and on Tuesday was seen buying alcohol at a supermarket near his home.
Tabloid papers have reported that Evans has already been sacked by Virgin Radio.
According to the papers multimillionaire Evans says he now "loathes" the station he loved and, will never work for Virgin again.
