'Lady Marmalade' made a rapid return to the top of the British charts and clinched another pop milestone by becoming the 900th number one since the charts began in 1952.
Christina Aguilera, Lil' Kim, Mya and Pink knocked Shaggy from the number one spot with the track that comes from the musical film Moulin Rouge.
Lady Marmalade was last at the top of the charts when it was released just over three years ago as a double A-side by girlband All Saints.
The song was first released in 1975 by another all-girl band, LaBelle. At that time it reached number 17 in the charts.
