Blur are going back into the studio to start work on a new track for Marianne Faithfull's forthcoming album, according to Blur bassist Alex James.
The tune is thought to have been written by Damon Albarn, who may also sing backing vocals on the track.
Alex said, "We're going in next month to do this thing for Marianne Faithfull, it's for her album". A spokesperson for Blur could not confirm this.
