Manson defies Ozzfest protestors

Marilyn Manson has defied protesters to perform in Denver for the first time since the Columbine Massacre.

He took to the stage at Mile High Stadium after Citizens for Peace and Respect failed in their months-long campaign to stop him.

Manson had cancelled an appearance in Denver after the massacre in 1999.

The protestors say Manson encourages violent attitudes that can be linked to occurrences like the Columbine High School shootings.

The group passed out Christian literature as people entered the day-long Ozzfest and held an alternative event, called Hopefest.
