A former member of the UK girlband All Saints is to kick off her film career with a role as a female soccer player.
Shaznay Lewis has signed up to play the team captain of an amateur club hoping to turn professional in a film called 'Bend It Like Beckham'.
Lewis was the only member of All Saints who did not appear in the movie 'Honest', which was an embarrassing box office flop last year.
It is hoped that soccer star David Beckham himself may make an appearance in the film which also stars Irish actor Jonathan Rhys Meyers and Juliet Stephenson.
