The husband of Sharon Stone has been attacked by a Komodo dragon at the Los Angeles Zoo.
Phil Bronstein, who is executive editor at the San Francisco Chronicle and Ms Stone were being given a private tour of the zoo when he entered the lizard's cage.
The 5ft-long reptile attacked Mr Bronstein's foot, crushing his big toe.
He is reported to be in a stable condition at a Los Angeles hospital after surgery to re-attached severed tendons and rebuild his big toe.
