Television comedian Michael Barrymore has been released without charge on police bail after being questioned by police investigating the death of a man at his home last March.
Two other men who were also arrested in Essex have been released.
Barrymore, who is 49, was questioned about alleged drugs offences, the two younger men are being held on suspicion of murder.
Thirty-one-year-old butcher's assistant Stuart Lubbock was found unconscious in a swimming pool at Barrymore's home near Harlow in Essex in late March.
He died in hospital shortly after being discovered.
