An English police officer was ordered home by his commanding officer after turning up for duty with a short bleached hairstyle akin to that of US rapper Eminem.
The officer and two colleagues were scolded by senior officers when they turned up for work sporting new hairstyles as a result of a stag night prank.
His two friends backed down but the officer argued that he wanted to retain the colour.
Later he agreed to tow the line.
