World War two drama 'Pearl Harbor' has proved to be a hit with American movie goers, despite getting a thumbs down from critics.
The film took in more than £50m in its opening weekend.
This is despite featuring - according to one critic - lame comedy, dubious history, fumbling drama and an inept love story.
