Movie legend Robert Redford has launched an attack on American president George W Bush's plan to build nuclear power stations and drill for oil in the Arctic.
The actor accused the president of spoiling the environment and risking a repeat of disasters such as the Three Mile Island nuclear accident.
In an article in the New York Times, Redford warned the plan would contribute to global warming.
