Actor Robert Downey Jr. is due in court next Tuesday to face what police say will be a charge of being under the influence of a controlled substance.
Downey had cocaine in his system at the time of his arrest last month, according to Los Angeles police.
Toxicology reports on samples voluntarily provided by the actor on the evening of his April 24 arrest “showed the presence of cocaine”.
Downey, 36, checked himself in to a private treatment facility immediately after his latest run-in with the law.
The troubled actor also faces the more serious charge of possession on May 24 after his arrest in Palm Springs last November.
