Former Beatle George Harrison is recovering in Italy after undergoing surgery for cancer in the United States.
The 58-year-old star had a cancerous growth removed from one of his lungs.
A statement from his solicitor said that the operation had been completely successful and he had made an excellent recovery.
Harrison was treated for throat cancer in the late 1990s.
