An exhibition of new work by Robert Ballagh opens in Dublin today. It is the first Dublin exhibition of new work by the artist since 1983.
'Tir is Teanga', which means Land and Language, features paintings that incorporate Irish text and include panels of natural materials such as stones, sand, bronze, peat, gold and silver.
The exhibition is being held at 27 Pearse Street, the birthplace of Patrick Pearse.
