It is reported that the Rolling Stones' Mick Jagger and Keith Richards have fallen out because Jagger is more interested in producing films than touring with the band. The Stones had been due to play concerts in Britain and the United States later this year. A source close to the group has been quoted as saying that Richards gets restless when he's not on the road, but Jagger has been experiencing success with his movie production company Jagged Films.
Jagged Film's first film is an adaptation of the Robert Harris thriller 'Enigma', about the battle by British scientists to break German secret codes during WW2. Jagger is expected to take the movie, starring Kate Winslet, to the Cannes Film Festival in May. Last year it was reported that Jagger was teaming up with Hollywood director Martin Scorsese to write a script about a pop music star.
