Former EastEnder Patsy Palmer is to return to TV screens playing a private eye in a new murder mystery series. She will star alongside Ballykissangel's Lorcan Cranitch in the drama, 'McCready and Daughter', which begins filming later this month. The pair will play a father and daughter private detective team based in the Irish community of Kilburn, in north London. Palmer, who played Bianca in EastEnders says the role of Clare McCready is very different from her previous roles and one of the most challenging she has ever played.
A single episode of the drama was screened in June but the makers, BBC Northern Ireland, decided to commission a series. Filming begins in London later this month; the series is expected to hit screens this summer.
