The memoirs of former Pogues frontman Shane MacGowan are to be published next year. The collection, entitled ‘A Drink With Shane MacGowan’, is the result of a series of interviews the singer gave to his wife Victoria Clarke. The books covers MacGowan’s life, from his early years in Ireland to his experiences in the London punk scene. MacGowan also recounts his stint with the Pogues and his reasons for leaving the group.
