Two Irish directors received awards from the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, at a ceremony in London last night. Dubliner Damien O'Donnell, director of ‘East is East’ was awarded the BAFTA for Best British Film, while Neil Jordan took the award for the Best Adapted Screenplay for his film ‘The End of the Affair’.
