The 72nd Annual Academy Awards ceremony is due to take place tomorrow evening. 'American Beauty', starring Kevin Spacey and Annette Benning, is the critics favorite to win the 'Best Film' award but - as last year's winner 'Shakespeare in Love' proved - this ceremony rarely passes without a few surprises.
