Three Irish films have recieved nominations for this year's British Film and Television Awards. 'The End of the Affair' directed by Neil Jordan has been nominated for 10 BFTAs. The film received BAFTA nominations in all the major categories, including Best Director. 'East is East', which was directed by Dublin-man Damien O’Donnell was nominated for five awards, while 'Angela’s Ashes', based on Frank McCourt’s book of the same name, has been nominated for three awards.
