Day 5 - A 300-year old Christmas tradition

In Co. Wexford the Kilmore Carol Singers are keeping a 300 year old Christmas tradition alive. All the men have long family traditions going back generations of singing the traditional Wexford Carols - one for each of the 12 days of Christmas. For Dixie Deveraux and his son Robert, it's a matter of pride to keep it going, as Kilmore is the only parish that still keeps this ancient tradition going.

The six men who will be singing the carols this Christmas are Pat Bates, Dixie and Richard Deveraux, Robert Whelan, PJ Boxwell and Jimmy Sheil.
