Eboni Burke, 18, is the welfare and equality officer for the Irish Second-Level Students' Union (ISSU).
Eboni, from Slane, Co Meath, has been talking to RTÉ as part of this week's The Big Picture: A Woman's World.
The series examines what it is to be a woman in Ireland in 2018.
It culminates in a special documentary on RTÉ One on Thursday 22nd November at 9:35pm.
