The Late Late Toy Show not only features the best toys of the year but musical performances from many talented children. There was no shortage of talent on the show as children from all across the country performed songs ranging from Grace to Someone You Loved.

Starting off with the opening performance, which was a Frozen-themed sequence. Singers Anna (Cleo Griffin) and Elsa (Anna Kearney) and members of the Spotlight Theatre Group, along with Ryan Tubridy as Olaf, performed.

Lil Nas X shot to fame this year with his song Old Town Road, a song that fused hip-hop and country to create a unique sound.

That alone was a unique combination but Kamera Breen, Eryk Janosik-Bielski, Lily & Lucie, Denise Sophie, Darren Stewart, Aodhan O'Halloran & Marcus O'Sullivan, joined by Synergy Dance Club, gave both the audience and viewers their own high-energy and creative take on the hit song.

Following that was a more reflective performance from Denis Moroney from Killorglin, Co Kerry, who gave a powerful rendition of The Dubliners' classic Grace

Scottish singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi was the inspiration for the next performance as Riaghan Boardman, St Brigid's Choir, 6 Sounds, Daryl Pike, Julie Cole and The Wispas perform his song Someone You Loved.

Ever wonder what it'd be like if you combined the hits of Elton John and Queen? Wonder no more as Maebh & Neasa Bolger, Louis Murphy, Atomic Stage Scholl, Cali Jordan, Bri-Elle Finn, Alex Bradley, Doireann McNally, Dara Kilcommon, Zara Alexander, Finlay Sheridan and Paddy White show you how it's done.

And to wrap up what was a memorable Late Late Toy Show, a combination of Christmas favourites like Mariah Carey's All I Want For Christmas Is You, and Slade's Merry Christmas Everybody.
