Author Dave Rudden received the Best Senior Children's Book prize at the 2017 Irish Book Awards for his debut novel Knights of the Borrowed Dark – and he has since completed the trilogy with The Forever Court and The Endless King.
He’s also written Doctor Who story collections for the BBC and last year brought out his debut book for 9–11-year-olds – the acclaimed Conn of the Dead.
Sister Wake (published by Hodderscape and out now) is his new novel, his first for adults, and the first in a new fantasy series reimagining Ireland’s rebel history and its fight to be free of English colonialism.
