The shortlist for this year's RTÉ Choice Music Prize Irish Album of the Year 2025 has been announced - listen to this year's shortlisted albums below.

Selected by the judges from another exceptional year for homegrown talent, this year's shortlisted acts include Amble, Bricknasty, Joshua Burnside, CMAT, Dove Ellis, Junior Brother, Just Mustard, Maria Somerville and SPRINTS.

The overall winner will be announced at a special event at Vicar St, Dublin on March 5th, with an exclusive live RTÉ 2FM broadcast, featuring performances from shortlisted acts - tickets are now on sale.

Now in its 21st year, the annual RTÉ Choice Music Prize once again celebrates the best in Irish recorded music - the winning Album of the Year act will receive €10,000, a prize fund which has been provided by The Irish Music Rights Organisation (IMRO) and The Irish Recorded Music Association (IRMA).
