Aedín Gormley, presenter of Movies and Musicals on RTÉ lyric fm, visited Today with Claire Byrne on RTÉ Radio 1 to celebrate the 90th birthday of a screen legend, Dame Julie Andrews - listen to their conversation above.

Aedín hosted a memorable conversation with Dame Julie for the Dublin International Film Festival in 2015, discussing her extraordinary career.
Andrews has been a legend of stage and screen for over eight decades, from her luminous first appearance on Broadway starring in The Boy Friend, to creating the role of Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady; to her film debut as the titular beloved character in Disney's Mary Poppins, for which she won a Bafta, Golden Globe and an Academy Award for this iconic role, and her iconic musical turn in screen classic The Sound Of Music, which turns 60 this year.
