Coming to this year's Dublin Theatre Festival, The Boy is a two-play theatrical event.
Written by Marina Carr and directed by Caitríona McLaughlin, Carr's latest work brings a contemporary Irish lens to the pain and beauty of Sophocles' Theban trilogy of Oedipus Rex, Oedipus at Colonus and Antigone, with an ensemble cast that includes a trio of formidable Irish actresses: Eileen Walsh, Olwen Fouéré and Jolly Abraham.
