Sean Rocks RIP. What a shocking bit of news.
Sean was a diamond, a professional and a gentleman.

Listen: Sean Rocks remembered by Morning Ireland
RTÉ Arena is a monster with the width and depth and variety of topics to cover and Sean was well able for it.
His training as an actor stood to him in terms of getting that breadth of knowledge across - and his early days as a teacher helped him deal with unruly guests.

But most of those guests went away from their short encounter with him in a RTÉ radio studio with a quiet sense that they'd met a good man.
He’d an amazing ability to use his knowledge and research and empathy in a way which wasn’t showy or about him.
He was all about the guest sitting across from him and he wanted them to shine.
So saddened to learn of the passing of RTE broadcaster Seán Rocks.

My thoughts are with his family, friends and RTE colleagues at this time. pic.twitter.com/kiyFNwi4Kf
I did a lot of items on the show with him over the years and I always looked forward to the chat with him off microphone too.
A wise lovely Monaghan man - deepest condolences to his beloved Catherine and sons Christian and Morgan.
