Lara Hanlon, Project Director at the 100 Archive, introduces this year's fresh additions to the ever-expanding archive of Irish contemporary design - enjoy a gallery of selections above.

The 100 Archive is a living record of Irish communication design, charting its past, present, and future through an evolving and diverse collection of work.

Each year, 100 Archive curates a selection of 100 standout examples of contemporary design—from brand identities and editorial layouts to digital, motion, and typographic work. These pieces are created by designers based in Ireland, as well as Irish designers working abroad, and are submitted through an open call. A two-panel assessment process takes place each Spring, when around 400 projects are reviewed and narrowed down to a final 100.

To ensure the Archive remains rooted in the design community, panel members rotate every three years. In 2025, we excitedly welcomed two new cohorts to the Professional and Archive panels, who each brought with them fresh perspectives from across design practice—be it through education, commissioning, curation, or hands-on creative work.
