It's jazz hands at the ready with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra under the incomparable Guy Barker for a celebration of 100 years of Gatsby! The date marks the exact centenary of the publication of F. Scott Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby - the RTÉ CO is taking any excuse to indulge in the glamour of the Jazz Age with musical treasures of the 1920s, including Sing Sing Sing, The Joint is Jumpin' and The Charleston... The Dream Pool Intervals in new series of works created for Hugh Lane Gallery by the internationally acclaimed artist; it's a meditation on the spectre of loss that haunts the contemporary imagination. Five large-scale jacquard tapestries form the centre of this exhibition and create a journey through emblematic iconography of past colonial repression and early technological aspirations.
