Listen: RTÉ Choice Music Prize at 20 - this documentary rocks

From Soak to CMAT, Lankum to The Divine Comedy, Two Door Cinema Club to Denise Chaila, the RTÉ Choice Music Prize is set to crown the 20th recipient of Irish Album of the Year this week.

It's an event that has brought us so many special moments over the years, and has helped spotlight the wealth of talent in Irish music.

People have often referred to different decades as being 'the golden age’ of Irish music, but in truth that have been many of these ages, not simply one. Since its first event in March of 2006, Choice has in some ways has helped to tell the story of Irish music.
