It's almost two decades now since the death of Swedish filmmaker Ingmar Bergman, and well over a century since his birth in 1918.

The Irish Film Institute’s new season Between Heaven and Hell gives moviegoers a chance to look back at the work of Ingmar Bergman. It will feature the auteur’s work from The Seventh Seal and Scenes from a Marriage to Persona and Fanny and Alexander.
