The shortlist for this year's RTÉ Choice Music Prize Irish Album of the Year 2024 was announced today on RTÉ 2FM's Tracy Clifford Show - listen to this year's shortlisted albums below.
Selected by the judges from another outstanding year for homegrown talent, this year's shortlisted acts include A Lazarus Soul, Curtisy, Fontaines D.C., Orla Gartland, KNEECAP, NewDad, Niamh Regan, Róis, Silverbacks and SPRINTS.
The overall winner will be announced at a special event live from Vicar St, Dublin on March 6th, with an exclusive RTÉ 2FM broadcast, featuring performances from shortlisted acts - tickets are now on sale here.
Celebrating its 20th anniversary, the annual RTÉ Choice Music Prize once again celebrates the best in Irish recorded music - the winning Album of the Year act will receive €10,000, a prize fund which has been provided by The Irish Music Rights Organisation (IMRO) and The Irish Recorded Music Association (IRMA).
