The loss of a child is truly the most appalling vista. Can a relationship withstand the torrent of grief... and how would the relationship adapt if the missing child were to return years later?
These are the questions at the centre of Virgina Gilbert's new film, Reawakening.
It stars Jared Harris and Juliet Stevenson as John and Mary, whose relationship has survived the most difficult of times, and is now severely tested when they seem to get the very thing they've wished for... the return of their missing daughter Claire, played by Erin Doherty.
