Broadcaster Marty Morrissey and the RTÉ Concert Orchestra are teaming up for the first time for a pair of spectacular sporting concerts in Dublin and Galway this September.
Audiences can expect famous themes, clips and images from the archives, interviews with sporting guests as well as Marty sharing some of his own memories.
Musical guests Tara Howley, Don Stiffe and The Galway Tenors perform in both concerts. Sporting legends Robbie Henshaw and Kevin McManamon join for chat and music for the Dublin date, while in Galway renowned actor Macdara O Fátharta makes a special appearance, with further guests to be announced...

Under conductor Gavin Maloney, music from the RTÉ CO and guests will include Put 'Em Under Pressure, Chariots of Fire, themes from The Sunday Game and Match of the Day, You’ll Never Walk Alone, The Fields of Athenry, Nessun Dorma, From Clare to Here and plenty more bound to get the blood pumping and sporting spirit ignited!
