RTÉ Supporting The Arts this September

This September RTÉ is delighted to support the Arts Council's Culture Night initiative - celebrating culture, creativity and the arts - along with 23 other events nationwide, spanning theatre, history, poetry, art, music, opera, exhibitions and more.

In Dublin, the Dublin Theatre Festival will bring audiences the best of Irish theatre, while the Fringe Festival will showcase the work of new and emerging artists. The Irish Film Institute Documentary Festival will have an extensive programme of long and short form non-fiction films.

A series of music events, from classical to jazz, will take centre stage in Mayo, Wexford, Waterford, Limerick and Louth, in addition to a literary festival in Wexford and an art and nature festival in Wicklow.

In Drogheda, the Seán Corcoran Series will host a programme of traditional and multi-disciplinary arts.
