THEATRE: ENDGAME
For this year's Galway International Arts Festival, Garry Hynes directs a pair of Irish acting heavyweights, Aaron Monaghan and Rory Nolan, in Druid Theatre's revival of Samuel Beckett's tragicomic tale of a man living with his parents and his servant in a world beyond time and place (Town Hall Theatre, Galway, 5 - 28 July)

MUSIC: PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL
The iconic rom-com is now a full-blown theatrical spectacular complete with a reality star turned musical theatre legend (Love Island's Amber Davis) in the lead, a book from the movie's director Garry Marshall and songs by rock legend Brian Adams - now, how long till they turn the musical back into a movie? Now streaming on RTÉ Player, this engrossing murder-mystery stars the excellent Andrew Garfield as a devout detective who has his faith tested as he investigates the brutal murder of a mother and child, and the dark truths surrounding the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
