All You Need is Death: Lankum's Ian Lynch on his first film score

In Paul Duane's new film All You Need is Death, horror and sean-nós singing are brought together in a tale of a pair of over-zealous song collectors who come a cropper when they mess with the rules of the oral tradition... leading to a body horror fest.

All You Need Is Death has screened at various film festivals and gets its Irish cinema release this Friday, May 17th at selected cinemas nationwide.

The touchstone for making this film was the resurgence in Irish folk music with the likes of Lisa O'Neill, John Francis Flynn and Lankum. So who better the write and compile the soundtrack than Lankum’s Ian Lynch? Ian joined Sean Rocks in the studio for RTÉ Arena - listen above.
