Dubliner Eoghan Ó Ceannabháin is a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist whose melodies are deeply rooted in the sean-nós tradition.
His voice carries echoes of the greats such as Sorcha Ní Ghuairim and Seán 'ac Dhonncha, and gives a contemporary twist to timeless Irish stories.
Winner of Best Folk Singer at the RTÉ Folk Awards, he has played with bands like Skipper's Alley, Aon Teanga: Un Chengey, and Jiggy, and his collaboration with Clare fiddler Ultan O’Brien was a classic.
His debut solo album The Deepest Breath captivated audiences far and wide.

The Gradam Ceoil TG4 Awards concert will be broadcast live on TG4 and from UCH on May 5th @ 9:30pm. Other recipients who'll be performing on the night along with Eoghan O Ceannabháin, are Derek Hickey, Jean Butler, The Kane Sisters, Ryan Molloy, Macdara O Faoláin and members of Cáirdeas na bhFidiléirí.
