The Irish music scene is flourishing, and we want to help it grow.
That’s why RTÉ 2fm are launching a new music initiative, entitled Grass Roots, as part of The New Music Show, hosted by Beta Da Silva.
The Grass Roots team are looking for new artists, who are at the start of their musical journey, so that they can give them the love and support that the future of Irish music deserves.
Every Monday, Beta will choose one artist to profile on The New Music Show, with the song in question being played throughout the week.
Am I Eligible?
To be eligible, and to be considered for airplay, you must meet ALL the criteria below:
· The project in question must be in its infancy (<2 years)
· You must an unsigned artist
· You must have less than 1,000 monthly Spotify plays
· You must have not supported a major touring artist
· You must not have received extensive profile across the media and the wider music scene.
· The recording submitted must be of broadcast quality

A short bio containing only the information below:
· Artist Name
· Where you’re from
· How you would describe your music
· Who you are influenced by
Where do I submit my music?
Send an mp3 (no wav files), along with the above information to 2fmgrassroots@rte.ie
Should you be successful, somebody will be in touch to request a high quality .wav file.
