The Waterboys' Mike Scott on legendary beat poet Allen Ginsberg

The New Theatre in Dublin's Temple Bar will this evening (March 12th) salute the famed Beat poet Allen Ginsberg with a celebration of the counterculture bard's life and work - find out more here.

A contemporary of groundbreaking writers Jack Kerouac and William S. Burroughs, Ginsberg changed the landscape of American poetry forever with his apocalyptic 1956 work Howl.
