Hey there, music and radio lovers! Allow me to introduce you to the newest addition to the RTÉ 2XM lineup, Relish with Rachel Mae Hannon.
I'm Rachel Mae Hannon, and I'm thrilled to be bringing you this brand new radio show every Tuesday from 12-2pm. I'm a soul/pop R&B artist from Monaghan, living in Dublin.
If you're wondering what I have in store for you, let me assure you - it's going to be an absolute blast. My very first show kicked off with a bang, featuring the amazing 2fm rising act, Big Sleep. Their energetic interview set the tone for what's to come on the show - have a listen above.
I also had the pleasure of chatting with Kayleigh Trappe, the lip-syncer and social media star who is taking the internet by storm. Chatting to her and hearing about her story was such a treat.
Now, let's talk about the music. This show is all about soul, pop, R&B, jazz, indie, and new music from Ireland and beyond. I'm here to bring you the latest and greatest tunes, along with some beloved classics.

Well, I've got some exciting segments that you won't want to miss. For starters, I have a game called 'Relish or Perish' where I'll be giving you a taste of some tracks for you to guess. YOU could win a jar of relish by guessing the song, or you could perish - the decision is yours!
If you're a fan of live music, I've got you covered with my 'Ukulele Gig Guide'. I'll be embarrassing myself by singing/playing a tune about upcoming gigs and performances, so be sure to have your calendars ready. (Please don't hate me if it's rubbish!)
More segments on the show include 'Throwback Jam' to get you reminiscing and grooving, 'What Are You on About?' where the world of entertainment, culture and music come to the fore, as well as a weekly in-depth interview called 'Crescendo'.
I am also passionate about spotlighting incredible Irish talent, which is why I have my 'Weekly Irish Music Spotlight'. 'Ceol for the Soul', will introduce you to the newest and most promising Irish artists that you absolutely need to know. My 'Weekly TikTok Artist Find' will also allow you to discover new music, and 'Boogie Call', is where you get to choose your favourites.

It's also a real full circle moment for me because when I released my first ever song called Be in Love in 2020, the station that played it for the very first time was in fact RTÉ 2XM. Now that I am presenting my own show on it, really is a dream come true. This show is a space where we celebrate artists, discover new tunes, and have a whole lot of fun.
